Two-day dialogue of parliamentarians begins in Doha

A two-day dialogue of former and current parliamentarians of 26 countries began in Qatar’s Doha on Wednesday to create public awareness against corruption around the world.

The meeting was organised by the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption and was inaugurated by the speaker of Qatar’s Sura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim.

As a member of GOPAC, former Bangladesh Nationalist Party lawmaker Zahir Uddin Swapan is representing Bangladesh in the conference.
