GOPAC’s Regional Chapter in Africa, APNAC, Elects a New Board of Directors
The Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) congratulates the Honourable Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu of Ghana and Senator Marie Claire Mukasine of Rwanda on their election as Chair and Vice-Chair respectively of the African Parliamentarians’ Network Against Corruption (APNAC). GOPAC Granted Observer Status at the Inter-Parliamentary Union
The Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) is pleased to announce that it has formalized its partnership with the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU) by becoming an IPU observer organization. GOPAC’s observer status was formally promulgated at the IPU Executive Committee meeting of 20 21 March 2013, during the 128th IPU Assembly, held in Quito, Ecuador. More…

GOPAC Announces Women in Parliament Network in Celebration of International Women’s Day
In honour of International Women’s Day, the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) announces the launch of the GOPAC Women in Parliament Network (WPN), which supports the efforts of female parliamentarians to combat corruption and to strengthen democracy and good governance. Legislators from around the world have resolved to seek the adoption of global legal instruments to enable the international community to pursue and prosecute the perpetrators of the most serious crimes of corruption.
