| The GOPAC Secretariat serves as the global point of contact for GOPAC and its regional and national chapters. The Secretariat's role involves keeping records of memberships, including regional and national chapters, and promoting new memberships and affiliations. It co-ordinates and facilitates the activities of the various organs of GOPAC as well as GOPAC's international programming. The Secretariat provides a supporting role to the Executive Committee and maintains relationships and co-ordinates activities between GOPAC and other organizations. One of the primary tasks of the Global Secretariat is also to collect and disseminate information concerning the GOPAC and its chapters.
GOPAC has a professional Secretariat based at the
Parliamentary Centre that supports the Executive and
Board, undertakes programming and communications, and manages
GOPAC finances. The Parliamentary
Centre, a Canadian not-for-profit organization, has
over 30 year experience in serving parliamentarians around
the world.

Executive Secretary
Martin Ulrich After studies at
the University of Manitoba and Iowa State University leading
to a Ph. D. in Economics, he held teaching and research
positions in economics, regional development and public
finance at Iowa State, Simon Fraser and the University of
Minnesota. Over the next thirty years he held policy analysis,
research and executive position in the Government of Canada,
principally at Treasury Board Canada. He lead the government
initiatives to improve reporting to Parliament and develop
the government's approaches to results-based management,
performance measurement and evaluation. He was also involved
in Canadian development assistance projects in Pakistan
and southeast Asia (principally in Malaysia).

Communications and Program(s) Consultant
Meaghan Campbell holds an MA in African History from Dalhousie University (2000) and a BA in African Studies (1998) from McGill University. Most recently she obtained a Certificate in Advocacy and Networking at the Coady International Institute (2004).
Ms. Campbell's professional career has included Program Manager responsibilities with GOPAC (2001-2006). She has also contributed to a number of the regional programs at the Parliamentary Centre - most recently the Canada Program and the Middle East program. She has also held program management positions at the Woodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars in Washington, DC and at Human Resources Development Canada.

Program Assistant
Kimberley Jordan is the program assistant responsible for finances, administration and communications at the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC). Ms. Jordan initially joined the center in Sept 2006 to assist with the 2 nd Annual Global Conference in Arusha, Tanzania. Since then she has rejoined GOPAC on a permanent basis as Program Assistant within GOPAC.
Ms. Jordan holds a B.A. Combined Honours in Law and Human Rights from Carleton University in Ottawa. Areas of particular interest are Transitional Justice and post conflict reconciliation. During her studies she was the recipient of a grant from The Canadian Bureau for International Education which allowed her to spend a year living in Eastern Africa.

Harrison Luong joined GOPAC in May 2008 as part of the York University Internship Program. He is working with the GOPAC team on improving communications materials and doing research for the Global Task Forces. Mr. Luong will complete a BA Double Major Honours Degree in Political Science and Criminology from York University in the fall.
Harrison speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
